The Journal of Sociocybernetics
invites submissions of articles for publication in one of its forthcoming
issues, especially from members of the Research Committee on Sociocybernetics
(RC51) of the International Sociological association, but also from
others, irrespective of discipline. Reading the Introduction in
this issue should certainly give you an idea whether your article
would fit the purposes of the Journal.
Articles should have
a length of in principle no more than 6000 words, should be original
texts, and should not be published elsewhere. They should be sent
as email attachments (Word or Rich Text File) to the three editors
of the Journal:
Submitted texts will
be refereed by members of the Editorial Board, and/or specialists
in the field concerned. In principle, you will hear within a month
after submission whether your proposed article has been accepted
for publication.
Obviously, the Journal
looks for submissions that are innovative, and apply principles
of General Systems Theory and Cybernetics to the field of the social
sciences, broadly conceived. If you are not a native English speaker
yourself, it will be appreciated if you can have your text checked
by someone who is before submitting it. If you are in doubt whether
the theme of your proposed contribution would in principle be acceptable,
you may contact one of the editors.
Upon acceptance of your
article, you will be required to sign a copyright release form.
